Did you know that Linnets, Linaria cannabina are on the UK Red List, meaning they are in decline? The cause is thought to be increased nest failure due to loss of habitat.

We have seen some Common lizards, Zootoca vivipara basking in the recent days of sun on our heathland nature reserves 🦎 As they are cold blooded, they need to warm up in the sun to source the energy to go eat.

Walking from the cemetery carpark to the Discovery Hut at #seatonwetlands gave us 18 lovely species in what was just a 10 minute walk 🥰 With all the bird song, sometimes it is hard to tell what is what.
