This BMJ article shows 45% of drugs prescribed to children aren’t licensed for use on them.
Trans kids on the other hand, their treatment needs a different level of evidence.

I know the GCs go on about medical records needing to record birth sex. If I was registered as male, every blood test would sound an alarm and inevitably waste GP time. If they want this, I'd ask them what services should be dropped to fund changing the IT systems

Since someone has asked where all the trans kids were in the past, I was a 70s kid, I didn't know what trans meant, but I knew I wasn't like other boys. Sadly, it took me 40 years to understand why. Trans kids are amazing and deserve to live in a world that accepts them 🏳️‍⚧️❤️
