I’m so tired of disabled people being left behind in almost every way. In education, economics, diversity, I could go on. With society uprising, disabled people are the last to be helped or thought of. I can’t tell you how traumatizing it is to be abandoned.

Octopus Energy I nominate Hugo Wilson for #OctoPlusOne . He missed out on his music festival birthday celebration because ‘access’ was across a ploughed field, not possible for wheelchair users like me and so we had to leave as soon as we arrived. He deserves another festival.

I don't understand why people don't understand we have to hustle for basic disability rights.

With all the ongoing misinformation about PIP, here's a thread with the facts.

Disabled people face unavoidable extra costs on average, £975 per month, that's after receiving PIP (if eligible).

PIP is supposed to help offset these extra costs.
