34% of men who died by in middle-age had been bereaved by the death of a parent (66; 27%), family member or partner (24; 10%), or friend (6; 2%). 19(8%) had experienced multiple bereavements & 14 (6%) had been bereaved by suicide. For 82% bereavement was >3m earlier.
