Today we are sharing some of our highlights from this week’s debates.🧵

The Victims, Witnesses and Justice Reform Bill proposes the creation of a new national Sexual Offences Court.

Justice Secretary Angela Constance highlighted the importance of taking ambitious action to ensure victims and survivors have meaningful access to justice.

Good to attend the launch of the ‘Coal not Dole’ exhibition on the 40th anniversary of the Miner’s Strike at Whitburn Community Museum and to meet former MSP Dennis Canavan whose report so important as part of the Scottish Government’s Miners Strike Pardons Scotland Act 2022.

As the sole shareholder of Post Office Limited, the #PostOfficeScandal is a Westminster issue that Westminster caused. For that reason, Westminster should fix it. Scotland must be included in this Bill.
