In Argentina, Gen. Laura Richardson joined President @jmilei & Argentine defense partners for a ceremony marking the transfer of a C-130H transport aircraft to FuerzaAéreaArgentina. The aircraft, valued at approximately $34M, is part of a U.S.-funded security assistance donation.

Last week, @JIATFS supported a joint operation with the Armada de Colombia & Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana that led to the seizure of more than 3.3 tons of #cocaine hydrochloride that was being transported in a Go Fast vessel off the coast of Colombia in the Caribbean Sea.

Reservists with the 349th AMW Medical Group hosted a knowledge exchange with Suriname Armed Forces physicians this week in support of #LAMAT24 .
One of the highlights of the day's training included hands-on application in needle decompression of the chest to treat a collapsed lung.

Ambassador Nyhus, alongside OKEU Hospital staff & Ministry of Health officials, announced that U.S. Airforce Medical Practitioners from the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team will be in St. Lucia from Feb 26 to Mar 7, offering free services to select patients.

Our #LAMAT24 team has been hard at work, partnering with our Suriname medical professionals in caring for the community. Together we strengthen our skills through mutual training and education. U.S. Southern Command

The U.S., through the Department of Defense 🇺🇸, donated an aircraft valued at more than $8M to the MinisterioDefensaRD to support the shared fight against illicit narcotics trafficking by transnational criminal organizations & bolster the country's disaster response capabilities.
