Celebrating 230 Years of Artistic and Cultural splendor: Louvre Museum 🎨🏛️

Yesterday, 10th August, marked a remarkable milestone in the world of art and culture as the iconic Louvre Museum began to celebrate its 230th birth anniversary.

Alliance Française du Bengale's director, M. Nicolas Facino, had the honor of participating as a Guest of Honor at the Annual Solstice Conference 2023 held at the ICCR Auditorium, Kolkata. A testament to collaborative efforts in promoting French and fostering literary exchange.

On July 13, Mr. Facino was warmly welcomed to award the French beginner course completion certificates to Kolkata Police officers at Lalbazar Police Station. It was a momentous occasion to celebrate the eve of Bastille Day with the upholders of law and order.

IIHM and Alliance française du Bengale signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to achieve their shared goals of promoting French language and culture among the students in order to facilitate exposure and expand their career options in the Hotel Management industry.

On Mar 28, the Programme Chairperson of Rotary Club of Calcutta, Ms. Renuka Shah welcomed Mr. Facino as the guest of honour at The Rotary Vocational Service Excellence Award meet that celebrates the efforts made in areas of Vocational Service to train and empower job seekers.

On March 27, 2023, Mr. Nicolas Facino and the French Theatre Director, Zazie Hayoun visited ICCR Kolkata to meet with its Director, Ms. Minakshi Mishra with the objective of discussing the possibilities of a partnership that could result in successful cultural collaborations.

The Times Group organised the event- ET Most Influential Personalities of West Bengal, to honour the leaders of organizations in Bengal for their contributions in the fields of education, science, sustainability and entrepreneurship which Mr. Facino attended as a special guest.
