Cat theft is a tragedy for any family.

Today, I supported All-Party Parliamentary Group on Cats calls to do more to #TackleCatTheft .

The Kept Animals Bill's pet theft amendment must include cats. The significant welfare impact of pet theft to cats, and the emotional impact on their owners, must be recognised in the pet abduction offence. #tacklecattheft

I was pleased to join APPG on Cats drop in event today where I signed the pledge to protect cats from theft.

The #KeptAnimalsBill proposes to make pet theft an offence but right now only includes dogs 🙀- cats are family too & must be included in pet theft law.
