Here my speech in the European Parliament on #InternationalRomaDay . Fascism is the death of Europe. That’s why I wanted to speak of gender-based #antigypsyism . #RomaDay is everyday and I will continue working for Romani women and girls.

Tomorrow, with the adoption of the New Pact on Migration, the individual right to asylum is being buried. A new, disastrous era is beginning in the EU.

✊🏼We will fight this pact with all our power and we are not alone.
📢The forces of resistance will come together across Europe.

The Roma are the EU’s largest ethnic minority.

On International #RomaDay , we call on #EUCivilSociety to speak up for equal opportunities for them.

Only with all EU countries' efforts can the exclusion & discrimination gap be halved by 2030, as proposed by the European Commission.

As we celebrate #InternationalRomaDay , we remain resolute in the fight against #AntiGypsyism and discrimination towards Roma and Travellers.
