ASLM, with Africa CDC, is conducting the Africa CDC Lab Network Information Mgt System (NIMS) training at Institut Pasteur de Dakar, Senegal, from March 26 -28. Its objective is to digitalize & optimize transactional processes & data utilization from AfricaPGI network operations.

The meeting was opened by the Commissioner NHLDS Dr. Susan Nabadda. In attendance are DLFPs, Regional Hospital Directors, Regional Lab Directors, Representatives of PHEOCs, Regional Epidemiologists, Reference Labs & Lab implementing partners. ASLM Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University.

#EQuAFRICA Phase I was a roaring success! With over 320 registered participants in the Community of Practice, the program conducted four successful #AMR #EQA cycles, with half of the participating laboratories achieving a score of > 80%. Phase II looks very promising!
