Heading to the Mississippi Capitol today for the ceremonial signing of the Rare Disease Advisory Council (RDAC) bill that I advocated for and was passed. Gonna be a really cool day! #raredisease #RDAC

Been working on this for years. The bill passed and just needs Governor Tate Reeves signature for an RDAC to officially be established in Mississippi!

Conner is one of my true heroes. He a 7th grader with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a degenerative disease. He comes to my office each year to talk about funding treatments and cures and he’s the bravest friggin kid I know.

PR pro tip (as a former PR/Comms pro): Before reaching out to a journalist/writer/blogger, know your facts and actually read the story before you berate someone for no reason. Being aggressive and wrong isn't a good look.

I always feel like a celebrity when I come to the orthopedic clinic because of how often I’m here. There’s 20 surgeons and one seen most of them. Everyone in the halls always says “Hey Aaron!” It’s not great im here all the time but nice that they all greet me. 😂
