Currently writing a video about plantar heel pain and I’ve just stumbled upon the 6th paper in a row citing a made up figure regarding prognosis (they all cite secondary sources and those guessed the figure based on clinical experience). Does anybody have actual prognostic data??

Here is an infographic I worked on a little while ago with the Physiotutors boys. I have added the references in. If you want a copy with a hyperlinks consider contacting Physio tutors.

An argument I get lately (from people outside the field, mind you) is that I can’t be a well-respected clinician because I make memes.

The world’s top surgeons or lawyers go home & play golf or play video games, & I poke fun at the nonsense in our field. Not mutually exclusive.

Fictional Patterns is the perfect workout to develop the ultimate sneaker build and by that I mean that you can’t even tell they workout even though they constantly have their shirts and pants off.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that makes no sense. Why is a guy holding bees!? And what’s wrong with his eye??

Polite request: please can Radiographers/ Radiologists stop reporting x rays like this as 'calcific tendinitis' ?

Calcifications are often coincidental and not the cause of a presenting shoulder complaint

I think it should be illegal to call yourself “Dr” without following it with your actual title (MD, DC, DPT, PHD...).

It’s the case in Quebec (only MDs can simply call themselves doctors).

We all know professionals using the murkiness to look like experts in field they’re not.

Just accept if it’s a conversation that can address why he keeps fucking up this bad then pretending like he cares. He’s the embodiment of “easier to ask for forgiveness than permission”. He’s doing this same thing right now following his LBP episode yet deleting negative comment

Huberman: “I’m gonna have to do another episode just on sciatica”

I know I can donate to the Huberman Lab, but can I donate against it?
Like at this point I will legitimately pay him not to produce more episodes, the last one on LBP was bad enough.

On whether damaged structures often cause LBP. It’s debatable, I think irritation is probably a better term in most cases

Had two patients this month with serious myotomal compromise:
L2 at 3-/5 and L3 and S2 at 1/5 (they couldn’t resist gravity). Yet they could both walk. One with a cane and a brace, the other with moderate limping.
How does that even work biomechanically?

Hey, guys, stay tuned for my two hour podcast episode on neuro-ophthalmology. I feel qualified to discuss this topic at length because I talked to three guys!

This is the guy telling me it is not a PT’s
Job to help patients decide whether surgery is warranted or not, but just the surgeon’s job.
Despite the Filbay trials showing 56% healing rates of ACL after full rupture with PT… and 90% with cross-bracing.
