Not much to write about with performances. But Brad Kilner was again outstanding, and a sold shift from Adam Swift on his return. Both thick enough to put their head where people won’t put their feet. Harry in net pulling off some fantastic saves 🙌🏻

Tough one to take yesterday against a very tough and capable Ripon side 4 1. A crazy 20 mins where we defended like we’d never played football before, ultimately cost us in the end but for 70mins more than competed.

Our juniors put in a sterling performance over the weekend to get to a national tournament semi final. Plenty of other teams from the area got to the quarters, semis and one even final. Until the old altofts curse prevails. This is our club ❤️🖤

A spirited performance from the reserves losing 2 1 in the semi final of the league cup, against Beeston St Anthony's who are a couple of leagues above us. We had a very good go and the attitude and application of the lads was excellent.

Tonight was WYAFL Division 1 fixture between Altofts AFC and Horbury Town FC Reserves.
A great game for the neutral.
After a goalless 1st half, we had a goalfest in the 2nd with the visitors going 2 up only to be pulled back to 2-2 before scoring twice more for a 4-2 victory.

Our game is on tonight at home to Horbury Town FC, 6.30 kick off and I’m pretty sure the chairman mentioned it was £2 a pint on selected beers. Skol and boddingtons whilst stocks last 🍺cya there

The firsts also return to action as we take on neighbours Horbury Town FC on Wednesday with the kick off time of 6.30. 2 games this season against them, with one game won by each team. Always a good battle 💪🏻
