As #WorldAutismAcceptanceWeek occurred during the holidays, Alva Academy is spreading awareness for the rest of April. S1 PSE classes had the privilege of hearing from A who discussed his strengths and challenges living with autism with both sincerity and humour! #remembertosayhi

When 3 schools collide musically!! A lovely moment in the concert last night when Carla from Alloa Academy, Lacie from Lornshill Academy and Emily from Alva performed together. The beautiful harmonies clearly went down well with the packed audience.

A wonderful school community concert last night featuring every primary and secondary in Clacks as well as pupils from Dollar and St Modans. So much talent on display.

A fantastic haul this week for our local food banks. The sense of service to our community and generosity of spirit is so heartwarming to see.

A simply wonderful afternoon at our Parkinson's UK friends and family event. Lovely for families to see the support network and friendships forged but also hear the improvement in both volume and confidence. Beautiful harmonies emerging too!!!
