2004: Dr Bhupen Hazarika was BJP LS Candidate from Guwahati- crowds used to gather at his meeting & at few places people even asked him to sing a few lines.
But he lost the election.
One of the feedback was: Voters had gone to see Dr Hazarika the artist,not the politician.
