Composer-Conductor Jake Runestad rehearsed with the concert chorale working on one of his compositions, 'Love After Love.' A resident of Minneapolis, MN, he fit us in between concerts at Carnegie Hall, residency @ Univ. of Nebraska, guest conducting Arizona All-State Chorus.

We are a 2024 NAMM Best Communities in Music Education district! This is the 8th consecutive year that our district-wide music department is recognized for supporting music education and ensuring access to music for all students as part of a well-rounded education.

Art teacher Kevin Hibbard hosted a workshop in the ACHS ceramics room for the New York State Art Teachers Association Region 1 to learn the ceramic process called Raku from art teacher Lauren Nels who presented virtually. He provided instruction on using the pottery wheels.
