The true purpose of any education system is to raise generations of people who have the freedom and responsibility to express who they are.

The real education is found in the authenticity and courage to pursue it.

Colleagues, leadership at any level can be a tough gig - you’ll often find yourself dealing with difficult situations. People are generally doing their best. In your interactions, remember the person. Treat others with the respect you’d want to be shown by others. North Ayrshire Education.

At the end of a day of taking stock and recalibrating for the next phase of #ScottishAttainmentChallenge at the national conference, we heard the inspirational words of Graeme Armstrong. His story is a real call to action for us in schools and a reminder of the power of education.
