Adam @adamhayden, I can’t think of anyone who has made us more aware of how desperately we need substantive progress against GBM; but also beautifully shows us all how to embrace and live your life. You inspire me and everyone you touch - big hug your way.

Congratulations 2023 undergrads for their team’s work on TCGA data. The projects were interesting and hopefully inspire you to think about how genomic (“omes) changes drive lung, colon, ovarian, GBM cancers! Don’t stop - you can change the world!

Can’t wait to read your book Chris. It promises to advance our fundamental understanding of complex diseases - especially cancer.

An important read for all in education (in all its forms!)…from Holden Thorp, dormant account of Science Magazine; “…educators should be inspired to learn new ways of communicating that make it easier for all students to learn….”

What a great SSP class of 2022! Cancer survivor/advocates working with our scientific and advocate mentors to inform and enhance progress in cancer research. You remind of the need for a sense of urgency - and teach us all to pay it forward.

What a great conversation. Knowing you have “signals” for cancer - but many (perhaps most) fall victims to the immune system. How do we plan for patients receiving information from these assays? Truly a new frontier with many unknowns.

How do our bodies know what to become?

There are no instructions in our genes that code for the exact 3D structure of our bodies. There's no tiny human contained in our DNA.

I discuss this with Michael Levin in my podcast and he's 🤯 blown me away with his ideas.
