Antoine leeyak⚡ Isn't what happened to Japan, what is beginning to happen to the US? At least the socializing debt part and the people getting poorer...

Rasul Kireev US is where you go to get stuff done. I'm Canadian and the US is more my thing (ignoring social issues). Canada plays safe.

Anna we see plenty of new moms in the 40s. my wife just had our second child at 37 and she was the youngest in the ward.

career goal, fitness, travel, can all still be done (with tradeoffs) with kids. it's not mutually exclusive.

don't give up!

Parrot D leeyak⚡ yes, Ray Dalio calls this a 'Beautiful Deleveraging' and talks about it at length in his book on managing big debt crisis. here's a relevant quote:

Parrot D leeyak⚡ except in the US the government isn't doing anything like austerity, it's passing large spending bills and growing the debt. expect harsher taxes or lots of money printing/devaluation of the US debt's true value. (my opinion).

Antoine It's about the types of complications and the differences. I won’t go into the history of watches. Thanks for the recommendation, I will check it out.

Rasul Kireev That's very different then. Location matters a lot for families in the US. In Canada, less so. I'm on the fence on this.

Fatih Arslan Will it talk about celestial navigation and how accurate clocks have been instrumental to seafaring and the advent of the modern world? An excellent book is 'The Perfectionists' by Simon Winchester.
