I agree with this, albeit with a heavy heart.

It is sad that medical colleagues may be more likely to get leadership in other sectors than their own profession. We have seen this before for disabled, ethnic minority and women leaders historically.

Firstly - change mindsets. The discrimination / ignoring of SAS colleagues is the biggest first hurdle. Include SAS leads in medical directorate structure (also LED, IMG leads) with clear objectives, governance and admin support. All posts to have PA allocation. 1/n
