Beautifully written Donald. As someone who routinely stresses, I understand the toll on mental wellbeing this has. Employers, especially in our challenging sector need to factor in how they will shift the narrative of feeling inadequate and the publics perception of our work 👏

So...we get to care for someone UNPAID whilst working ourselves, and getting five days off UNPAID is..... a favour? No, it is not. Being a full time carer & being a full time worker is brutal. A week's missing wage one month is not going to help that. 🤦
