I never got to meet DrDr (😊)Wendy Mitchell, but since starting my new job Arts for Dementia she has been a presence - her thoughtful books and her honest blog provided a unique insight and helped me understand some of her challenges and joys. Do read them if you haven't yet.
A really sad day for so many of us who were informed and inspired by DrDr (😊)Wendy Mitchell and how she thoughtfully articulated and shared her experiences with dementia. If you haven't read her books, please do. As Wendy says: 'I’ve always given people hope, or I like to think so.'
Join our CEO Penny Fosten, former workshop participant Lori Hayden, and Ben Mottershead of @StudioBND on 6th March at this London Arts and Health Creative Health Sandpit where they will talk about co-producing our re-brand.
