The crew of Artemis II took part in a test off the coast of San Diego this week to rehearse the safe recovery of the crew and the Orion capsule after their splashdown in the Pacific. Before, they practiced in NASA’s giant pool. Jeremy R. Hansen and Dr. Jenni Gibbons explain.

Spending some time with reporters today during a special media day at Canadian Space Agency. I’m joined by Dr. Jenni Gibbons and CSA experts to answer their questions about Artemis II and Canada’s role in lunar exploration.
Despite a busy training schedule for both of us, Joshua Kutryk and I still find time now and then to fly together. Flying in the T38 provides us with an opportunity to practise our crew coordination and piloting skills. This is our view over the Gulf Coast from 8,500 metres.
On a tous les deux un horaire chargé, mais Joshua Kutryk et moi trouvons toujours le temps de piloter ensemble. Le T38 nous permet de perfectionner en équipe notre coordination et notre technique de pilotage. Voici la vue qu’on avait à 8500 mètres au-dessus du golfe du Mexique.
