I kind of like that UIUC leadership responded to an unapproved pro-Palestine protest that included some 'unlawful and impermissible conduct by some' by negotiating with the protesters to create an *approved* pro-Palestine protest with lawful and permissible conduct

There are protestors who aim to inflame every situation. I think anyone who shouts “kill …” should be held accountable. I don’t care what side of the protest they are on. Trying to frame someone else for bigotry or racism is an act of cowards.

Activists who want to actually change policy instead of just performing radicalism are going to welcome support from political leaders, not bash them for being late.

I predicted this development when the news came out.
