. Vancouver Foundation’s LEVEL Youth Engagement delegation spent a morning BC Legislature this week and I was honoured to host them. We talked about advancing racial equity and leadership opportunities for marginalized youth. Delegates—thank you. I enjoyed learning from all of you!

Alongside ⁦Josie Osborne⁩, ⁦Renee Merrifield⁩, ⁦⁦Sonia Furstenau⁩, ⁦John Rustad⁩, and ⁦Janet Austin⁩, it was a true honour to host ⁦Canadian Science Policy Centre (CSPC)⁩ here ⁦⁦BC Legislature⁩ to discuss the relationship between science and policy.

This week, we hosted delegations from NSW Legislative Assembly and Scottish Parliament for sessions ranging from security to parliamentary culture. Thanks to NSW Speaker Greg Piper and Clerk Helen Minnican, and Alison Johnstone, Michael Marra MSP, Evelyn Tweed MSP, and Maurice Golden for coming to BC Legislature!

Grateful to my colleague Kate, Clerk of BC Legislature, who acted on my behalf to welcome members of BC’s Iranian and Persian communities to celebrate #Nowruz in the Hall of Honour today. Dancers from AMED Dance Academy and local musicians showcased incredible talent.
