A retired Sea Harrier jump jet and Lynx are on an 8,000-mile journey to become centrepieces of a new museum in the Falklands.

Wildlife Wednesday this week has been sent in by AS1 Steven Rickard who works at MT Ops here at MPC. These photos of Sea Lions were taken at Cape Dolphin, which is the Islands best location for seeing breeding Southern Sea Lions. Very smiley ones as you can see!

A huge congratulations to Cpl Katie Williams from 1435 Flt Supply, who received a Commander British Forces Merit Award today.

Each month, the PTI's host the BFSAI Cup. This month was Unihoc, an indoor hockey style game. Overall, 7 teams competed in the tournament, and in the end the RSSB team came out victorious!

This weeks Flt Lt Callum Love, JCSU SAI Ops Officer. These photos were taken around Pebble Island, Whale Point and Berthas beach. The sun istill shines around The Falkland Islands as you can see, despite it getting a little chillier as we head towards winter! 📷 ☀️

AIB personnel and community members participated in a Monthly Beach Clean recently, collecting over 30kg of rubbish from Long beach. This is extremely important as rubbish could be hazardous to turtles who are still laying their eggs and hatching season has began 🐢🐢

Geissenstroom, a tug boat operated on behalf of BFSAI successfully recovered and towed Frio Chikumo, a grounded reefer vessel, after she dragged anchor last week. This once again demonstrates the close working relationship between the MOD and Falkland Islands Gov 🇫🇰

The Inkerman Company Gp, 1st Battalion The Grenadier Guards conducted an exercise last week, involving over 100 soldiers and various equipment. They tested their skills in challenging terrain and weather conditions, proving their cohesiveness, resolve, and professional abilities. 🇫🇰💂
