3 generations of BPs came together today to send off a true keeper of Borough Hall, Joe Frizzell.

For 27 years, Joe kept things running smoothly for BK — from producing videos to capturing wayward balloons and running pressers.

Happy retirement, Joe! You earned it 10x over!

Brooklyn lost a legend. Born in Bed-Stuy, Mister Cee’s production credits helped define the sound of hip-hop and gave the world one of Brooklyn's greatest poet: the Notorious BIG. I join New York and the hip-hop community in mourning his loss. May he rest in peace.

Devastated by the gun violence last night that left a young boy injured blocks away from where a man was killed and another wounded. Wishing those injured speedy recoveries and sending love to neighbors who are grieving.

We need real action to protect people from gun violence.

Couldn’t call my trip to Leaders High School complete without stopping for a slice at L&B.
