At AFRUCA - Safeguarding Children we are saddened to hear about the passing of Richard Taylor OBE, Damilola Taylor’s dad. He was deeply committed to the well-being of children and would often support community activities dedicated towards improving the lives of children. Our condolences to his family.

The findings of BASNET's report, 'The Safe House Is Not Safe,' are not just distressing but utterly appalling. It reveals a harrowing reality for Black and Asian survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking who seek refuge in government-funded safe houses across England.
