Thanking our members UK BME Anti-Slavery Network (BASNET) BASNET who attended our members’ meeting earlier today. We explored a range of issues especially the outcomes of our recent activities on labour exploitation in the care sector and our Safe House report.
We AFRUCA - Safeguarding Children are holding an online consultation on Friday 5 April 2024 with young Black people in London and Manchester.
The event is to gather their view-points about what should happen to make their lives safer

At AFRUCA - Safeguarding Children we are saddened to hear about the passing of Richard Taylor OBE, Damilola Taylor’s dad. He was deeply committed to the well-being of children and would often support community activities dedicated towards improving the lives of children. Our condolences to his family.
