Just about caught up on sleep after a whirlwind trip to NYC to celebrate St Brigid's Day w/ Bad Bridget®, Irish Consulate NYC and New York Irish Center. Met so many wonderful women including Elizabeth Stack of American Irish Historical Society and the AwakenHub crew. 😘 to Karen_Reid for being my partner in crime!
The Consul General was thrilled to unite with the wonderful New York Irish Center on this past #StBrigidsDay , honoring the incredible Corina Galvin, Sinead Naughton & Fiona Walsh. Grateful for the inspiring tales shared by Alison Metcalfe, Andrea Haughian & Yvonne Cassidy! 🌟🍀
If the book is even half as good as the stories shared by Leanne McCormick & Elaine Farrell Irish Consulate NYC this morning, then I'm in for some treat! Fascinating research & findings shared, I could still be there listening to these ladies!

We haven't been brave enough to watch Saturday night's #tommytiernanshow yet. But we had such a great time filming at RTÉ, meeting Tommy Tiernan (& Fred Cooke, the show's amazing team, & Jono Lancaster), and talking about our #Badbridget research. Thanks for having us RTÉ One🥰
Congrats to fellow Penguin Books Ireland author Colin Barrett on the publication of #wildhouses this week! Obviously we love that gorgeous Hodges Figgis display!! 👀 #BadBridget 👀

A big thank you to the team from National Museums NI and Bad Bridget® and all those who joined today to hear about audience development and the Bad Bridget exhibition development process! Arts and Humanities Research Council #IAA
Just finished reading my copy at the weekend! It’s a great read, full of murder, mayhem and mischief , as well as pathos and loss. My advice - read the book then head to Ulster American Folk Park to see the exhibition. Definitely a documentary or feature film to be had from this research!
Lots of signed copies in Waterstones Belfast Fountain Street and Forestside! Thanks for having #BadBridget as Irish book of the month Waterstones 🥰
