Just wow! What an incredible group of young people Year 5 are.
Our Charles III Orchard is complete and it’s been because of the hard work, skill and dedication of our children.
We hope the children will continue to see the orchard grow for years to come.
We need to be proud.💙❤️

Our quest to save our planet continues.
Today we were knowledgeable and respectful when we went into Barrowford to give away trees to our community.
Once again our children did us proud. ❤️💙

Year 5 smash it again. Maths, swimming, reading and planting trees for King Charles’ National Orchard. The children really are showing their skills, kindness, determination and team spirit.

Another great day starting with an incredibly moving Ramadan assembly followed by learning, swimming and even our King Charles III orchard has had its first fruit trees planted.
Our children are wonderful young people with skills, respect and resilience.
We are rightly proud💙

We held yet another fabulous Human Library this afternoon with so many new stories being collected. It was warming to watch the children so immersed in the conversations and inspiring hearing the stories being told.

Our maths is going from strength to strength in Year 5. We are really benefiting from excellent oracy skills and logical mathematics.
I couldn’t be prouder of our Year 5 maths learners. 💙

Year 4 were co-operative and logical when completing a timeline of Yellowstone National Park yesterday. They wrote out and designed key events and then put them together in chronological order.

Year 4 have been debating on some interesting topics. The children have been using some great vocabulary to express their opinions for each motion. Ask your child if they were for and against and what their argument was.

‘The race’ written by one of our children, inspired by a book we read together in class ‘Susan laughs’ about a girl in a wheelchair.

I love when children are inspired and find an inner skill they want to explore. These are the moments which make teaching so worthwhile. 📚💙
