Thirteen BHS seniors earned a Missouri Seal of Biliteracy this spring, in languages such as Bosnian, Dari, Vietnamese and Somali. Students had to exhibit the ability to read, write, speak and more in their language to earn the seal.

BSD recognized it's Volunteer of the Year, Alumni Association President Sally Wear. Sally graduated from BHS in 1958, and began working as a secretary in 1959. She has been working or attending Bayless in some capacity since the 1940s. #BringTheStampede

On April 30, students and administrators from Bayless Schools' Refugee Education Program spent the day visiting the Missouri State Capitol.

The group was recognized in both the House and Senate Chambers, toured the Hall of Famous Missourians and viewed various offices.

Ava Eckhard and Mrs. Tamara Simmons were presented with medallions today for their nomination into the St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards! #BringTheStampede

For School Lunch Hero Day, the student council at Bayless Junior High came in early to serve the building's food service workers breakfast! #BringTheStampede

BES fifth-grader Milica Mitrovic placed first in the State of Missouri for the Elks Lodge Americanism Essay Contest! She wrote an essay on the Bill of Rights, and has advanced to the Elks' national competition. #BringTheStampede

Bayless has a group worth celebrating for National School Principals Day. From Early Childhood through Senior Year, students have compassionate leaders in their building that will push them to learn and grow!

This #TeacherProudTuesday is for Science Teacher Art Wilde! Art has led a team to second place at the WWT Student Stem Forum, helped several students in the TSA place in the top 3 at TSA's state competition, and continued his excellent work in the classroom.
