Important week for international law: 🇺🇳UNGA Legal Cttee discusses a draft convention on crimes against humanity.

🇪🇺EU & its Member States support the convention and call on everyone to work on opening negotiations.

During the resumed #6thcommittee session on the ILC draft articles on “crimes against humanity”, 🇧🇪 stated that international cooperation is needed for the fight against impunity which contributes to peace & security. We also stressed the need for a victim centered approach.

Today our legal advisor Elisa “met her younger self” as she received an international group of students 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓 from ULB MUN, participating in NMUN 🇺🇳Exactly a decade ago she was also a delegate at NMUN with the ULB team. Best of luck representing France this week! 🍀
