Grassroots music venues aren’t necessary because some artists who play there go on to get big. They’re necessary because of the local culture they create , they have a magic that can’t be recreated in big corporate venues. They exist out of love of music, not love of money ❤️

We were on early at Roadburn in Tilburg last Friday, first on in fact. Crowd participation was a bit sleepy, so told them to respond like they were at the darts. Loved this gig.
