check the pedipalps (out front) on this immature Hesperonemastoma harvester

what Wolff et al 2016 called 'sticky whips'. the sticky comes from plumose setae with glandular secretions which combine to capture small agile prey items

Any folks know what animal produced this dropping? Client: 'Dropping found in house. Hope you can help identify. Was on top of jar in pantry. Previously had mice so all foods in pantry are in glass or plastic containers...hear teeny squeaky sounds in my bedroom now and then'

Ankothrips niezabitowskii (female, bleached with KOH).
Very glad that I managed to make some perfect slide mounts. Due to the large ovipositor, this species tends to turn in lateral position.
Check out the characteristic cross veins on the fore wings.
Body length: 1,7mm
