If Trump gets to speak live on TV, why can't this trial be televised?

Next the Defendant will complain to reporters that his teacher looked at him the wrong way when he was in third grade.

Other defendants do not customarily defend themselves by ranting outside the courtroom that they should be out on the Presidential campaign.

Defendant who tries to provide his own defense by bloviating to TV cameras outside a courtroom has a fool as a client.
