Between 2022 and 2023 we saw 10 of our staff members undergoing apprenticeships!
Through this, we are enabling those members of staff to grow and learn whilst providing them with hands-on work experience to aid their learning! We are so proud of all of our apprentices!

At the Big Life Group we do things the Big Life way, seeing people not problems. We work with people on all areas of their lives and see the value in all life experiences. In 2022-3, we've worked with 55,286 people and had over 30,000 attendances at our drop-in groups!

Our most recent vendor audit found that two-thirds of our vendors are currently in housing.

While our service is designed to be accessible to people experiencing homelessness, we are here for anyone who needs us.

Did you know that selling The Big Issue is a legally recognised form of self-employment?

Our vendors are working, not begging. Vendors buy magazines for £2 each from one of our regional offices, then sell them for £4, keeping the money they make.

Those in need of ongoing, in-depth help with their addiction are often viewed unsympathetically. They can be termed as difficult, oppositional, and problematic. Some of them are these things - substance misuse has dramatic effects on someone’s neurology: bit.ly/3tiqAw0

Millions of people are impacted by drug and alcohol abuse, be it personally or through a loved one’s addiction.

Yet, for too long, drug and alcohol treatments and services have been limited in terms of ongoing, in-depth support.
