A powerful example of what is happening to satellite-tagged birds of prey that 'disappear' suspiciously: bird shot, tag removed and destroyed bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

The UK and Scottish governments have taken decisive action to save our seabirds by ending sandeel fishing in Scottish waters & the English North Sea.

We support this vital action and urge the EU to follow our lead, not block it. 🚨

Together, we can save our seabirds.

It's a turbulent time in Scottish politics. Whatever happens in the coming weeks, what matters is that legislation, policies, and funds which help tackle the nature and climate crisis are taken forward.

The Orkney Native Wildlife Project is working to eradicate non-native Stoats from the islands. They threaten ground nesting birds and eat the Orkney Voles that many raptors rely on.

Huge win for our seabirds!

All Scottish waters and the English North Sea are now CLOSED to industrial sandeel trawling.

That means more fish for seabird beaks.

After a quarter century of campaigning, we're delighted GOV.UK and Scottish Government have put these closures in place.

It’s got geese and a tractor in it. Plus a brief guest appearance by a Whooper Swan. What more could you want?
