Earlier this week OCPD arrested a man after he was accused of planning a violent attack. Kirk had turned himself into a mental health facility where he confessed his plans to the staff. The staff reported what kirk had shared with them, and contacted the OCPD.

Willa Johnson passed away at age 83 and lived a remarkable life. From serving her country to serving her county/ city Johnson was a pioneer. She became first Black woman elected to the OKC City Council W7, and was later elected to D1 Oklahoma County Commissioner.

Brittan Kirk was arrested in Oklahoma City after being accused of planning a deadly attack.

Officers searched his car where they discovered AR-15 parts, books on how to build explosives, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

He was released on a $5,000 bond on Monday.
