Straight from a physician on why we should expand Medicaid. Here’s the cold, hard truth. Medicaid will be expanded one day just like kindergartens were finally created under Gov. Winter. The question is how much longer and how many more people have to get sick and some die.

Mississippi has now reached the 3rd highest-cost state for groceries and yet we tax those groceries at the highest rate of any state (7%). Once again, we will pass another year and nothing will be done to get this tax on the most basic necessity of life eliminated.
