Wow, strong words here. 'Nothing like this has ever happened'... 'Most extreme event in North American History'. While I can not validate that from my personal experience, it strikes me as unprecedented that 100 US sites in 2 days broke Monthly temp records and some by 10+!

Well worth revisiting this evidence for how winter Arctic blasts 🥶 in the northern hemisphere are linked to an Arctic warming faster than the global average temperature. 🌏🌡️ Which by the way just logged the hottest annual global average temperature in 2023.
