How sad that Thurrock Council celebrated by strimming the remaining long grass on top of last weeks mow, removing all the wildflowers + insects in it.
They've left the grass where they cut it, so it doesn't even look neat, which I assume was the purpose of cutting it!?

Well I'm sure fantastic research was carried out on this bizarre design, that fully supports its use. The kind of research I experienced this morning. Biased, confused & designed to find approval of something obviously not fit for purpose.

Couple of gammons lost in the gardening aisle of Poundland this afternoon, looking for flags to shag. 'We celebrate everything else, we need to show'em'.
