Slower heart rate increases time in diastole —> increased atrial emptying through the narrowed mitral valve, decreasing left atrial pressure and backwards pulmonary venous pressure relieving pulmonary edema 🫀

Why docs run late in clinic!

1. More patients than docs. Clinic overbooked so patient care not delayed weeks/months

2. Docs spend more time with patient than time slot given (can’t tell someone they have cancer and say bye in 10 min)

3. Prior patients showed up late
