Our afternoon workshops are underway!

Discussions focus on 4 key research areas that require evidence:
👉Rights-based approaches,
👉Biodiversity finance,
👉Designing policy-relevant biodiversity monitoring schemes,
👉Addressing drivers of biodiversity loss at a societal level

We asked event attendees: what next steps should #CASCADE take?

Members answered:

✅Establish our vision,
✅Open a call for members,
✅Diversify

This highlights all the exciting work to come.

How often is the implementation of the CBD affected by lack of knowledge?

“Lack of knowledge is one of the biggest challenges. Making sure decision-makers have access to knowledge will go a long way in improving the way we implement the GBF.”
