We urge the public to not circulate rumors or speculate on details of the incident, as this remains an active SFPD investigation.

How do we support young people struggling after three years of COVID? Reps will address recent incidents involving middle school students for our limited-English speaking parents.

Community School Safety Townhall with CCSJ Chinese for Affirmative Action SF public schools leaders, answering questions that parents have regarding recent incidents btwn students.

It is unacceptable that DA Brooke Jenkins has decided not to file charges against the armed security guard who killed Banko Brown. Let's join this action happening tmrw in front of the DA's office to demand that she hold Michael Earl-Wayne Anthony accountable for killing Banko.

Today I will introduce a Resolution calling on AG and DOJ to examine the evidence in the killing of Banko Brown.

Justice and safety are not mutually exclusive values. I believe Justice makes us safer.

Our statement in response to the mass shootings in #MontereyPark and #HalfMoonBay :

Like many of you, the Coalition for Community Safety and Justice is in grief as we mourn the lives lost in the horrific tragedy last night in Monterey Park, California during a #LunarNewYear celebration.

Here is our statement in response to these events.

We condemn the recent attacks in San Francisco targeting two Chinese seniors. Both incidents of violence have left victims seriously injured and traumatized, and we want to share the work we've been doing on the ground to support the victims.

Harassment is precursor to violence and, according to Shanti Elise Prasad, the community-based solutions offered by #NoPlaceForHateCA could stop harassment before it starts.
