I was pleased to receive the U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, Ambassador Meg Whitman. The Ambassador had paid my office a courtesy call during her first visit to Nyeri County.
We discussed various areas of partnerships between ourselves and the US Government.

Despite progress, TB persists as a global epidemic, claiming nearly 1.5 million lives annually, mostly in developing nations - USAID Kenya Mission Director, Mr. David Gosney. USAID supports innovative digital technologies to aid TB prevention, diagnosis & treatment in Kenya.

For over 45 years, CDC has collaborated with the Government of Kenya to prevent, detect, and respond to disease threats. Last week, we were pleased to host a delegation from Ministry of Health to build upon our longstanding relationship and support the growth of The Kenya National Public Health Institute. 🇰🇪

CHU4UHC Community Health Services Kenya is currently engaged in the curriculum development process. We are reviewing the HIV, TB, Malaria and NTDs (Neglected Tropical Diseases) technical modules as part of the comprehensive integrated CHP curriculum
