So exciting to be Southside Shopping Centre today unpacking so many beautiful weavings - the work of 32 #Wandsworth primary schools to form a textile river for #WeavingOutWaste with Royal College of Art artist Caroline Lauvetz - the exhibition opens next week and we can’t wait to see it!

So exciting to have received all of the work back from schools for the #WeavingOutWaste project! Artist Caroline Lauvetz will be unpacking all of this and more and installing the exhibition Southside Shopping Centre over the next few weeks - we can’t wait to see the result! This term [email protected] have joined 40 schools for 'Weaving out Waste' - a project led by Creative Wandsworth Cultural Education Partnership to promote upcycling textile waste, whilst celebrating the Wandle's textile industry heritage. Their work will become part of a textile river, going on display next month!

Exploring journeys to school with Year 4 Griffin Primary School as part of a project on #CleanAir with Chocolate Films Workshops. Their work will be used to create an animation for #CleanAir Day and shown during #WAF2024
