This year proceeds from our @cfes_pto Sweetheart Dance went to support Relay for Life. Tonight we joined many other teams across the region to honor survivors and remember our loved ones we have lost to cancer.

We got to see a local newspaper from 1944 today! This student brought it to share. We saw articles about WWII battles, blockades, rationing paper, planting victory gardens, and encouraging women to vote. Loved all the connections to social studies! Colham Ferry Elem Oconee County Schools

Our Science Olympiad team ROCKED the regional competition winning 2nd place overall! We are going to state!! So proud of our mustangs for all of their hard work!🥈🎉

We launched our spring PBL on electricity yesterday. Students poured over news articles to figure out why the power goes out and what might be a leading cause of any outages at CFES.
