๐ขBenedikt Klein, Dylan Morgan, Matthias Kahk, and Reinhard Maurer have done exceptional work in creating a guide on ฮSCF calculations for X-ray spectroscopy within FHI-aims, for both periodic and aperiodic systems. Thank you! ๐

Day 1 of the CONEXS sandpit at Research Complex at Harwell ๐ Kicking us off is Tom Penfold from Newcastle University giving an introduction to HPC-CONEXS ๐ช Our main goal is to bring theorists and experimentalists together to drive progress in our understanding and application of spectroscopy
It started! Our event with CONEXS Harwell XPS ! :) we have a very dedicated Mark Isaacs waiting for you with his mug!
Our sandpit with Harwell XPS starts this morning. Looking forward to hearing about experimental and theoretical advances in X-ray spectroscopy and some stimulating discussions.
Exciting lineup of upcoming conferences funded by PsiK. Our group will be involved in the organization of the X-ray spectroscopy conference in June in Espoo (Aalto University) and the GAP/(M)ACE D&U conference in September in Berlin (@fhi_mpg_de). Looking forward to it!
โข๏ธ We are looking for a PhD student!
