Our staff closed out #NationalGardenMonth with one last service day at our Abib Newborn Learning Garden in Brooklyn. We are so grateful that they took the time to help us maintain and prepare our garden beds for the upcoming planting season 💚

We want to thank FundPlay Foundation and LeagueApps for welcoming CityParks Play High School Interns to their NYC offices yesterday. Students networked with staff from a variety of departments, learned about web design & branding, and, let's not forget, a great pizza lunch!

It's #EarthWeek spotlight time! Our Learning Gardens High School Training Program, which immerses high school students in garden-based learning, is in full swing! Students spent their first full week out in the garden learning about different types of soil and decomposers 🌱
