The Lambs are into the MMP Central Wales league cup final with victory over Penparcau in an entertaining tie. Barry Bellis stared with a hat-trick with Glynn Coney grabbing a brace before Richard Davies and Ethan Holloway completed the scoring! 🔵⚪️

Now we find ourselves in the bottom half of a 12 team league, clearly way off European football, but yet still have a chance to qualify for it, and as long as we have the paperwork and happy to play it in whatever 'designated' ground will take us on, ie Leckwith. It's a nonsense.

The Welsh Premier idea was exciting. Qualifying for Europe was exciting. Hosting Kyiv, Boavista, Porto, Aberdeen, Skonto, Budapest was exciting.

Now what?

Playing the same clubs multiple times a season with some vague hope you may lose in Europe on someone else's ground?

I would value a Welsh Cup win over qualifying for Europe any day. Surely reaching European football is the whole purpose of the the JD Cymru Leagues 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿? It's the reason this club left the English non-league in 1993. But to then not be able to play Euro games at home is a total farce.

Please note that Saturday’s fixture has been changed to tomorrow and will be played at Latham Park!

Our U19’s host local rivals The New Saints Academy this evening in the FA WALES development league, 7:45pm kick off.
